Tour NE01: Toronto and Niagara Falls

We depart Ottawa at 7:00 AM to make a two-hour drive to the Thousand Islands. Upon arrival, we embark on a one-hour boat tour of the breathtaking islands, an archipelago located on the border between Canada and the United States. The 1864 islands occupy a territory of 80 kilometers. Once back on shore, we will drive to Toronto. We will have a lunch break on the way. In Canada’s cultural and economic center, we first visit Toronto City Hall.  Then we ascend to the CN Tower - the tallest free-standing structure in the world. We can choose to explore the Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada just beside the CN Tower. The aquarium is Canada's largest indoor aquarium, displaying over 16,000 marine and freshwater species, covering the entire North American species. The aquarium has the longest viewing shark tunnel in North America. There is also the world’s largest jellyfish camp, over a hundred years old longevity. We will stay overnight in Toronto (Quality Inn or similar).

Day 2: Niagara Falls - Niagara-on-the-Lake - Ottawa

After breakfast in the hotel, we leave for Niagara Falls. First, we visit the Skylon Tower for a panoramic view of the Niagara region. We then take the famous Niagara Falls Cruise boat tour for a close-up of the powerful falls. The closer we get, the more intense the falls become as the magic of the mist takes over. Afterward, we drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake, a Victorian-style town that was the first capital of the province of Upper Canada. The site is also famous for its production of ice wine. We take two short breaks on the way and arrive in Ottawa at 9:00 PM.
